Benni Krueger is a Wellington-based qualified piano tuner and technician with over 20 years of professional experience.
Originally from Berlin, Germany, Benni trained from a young age under the guidance of his father, Joachim Krüger, a highly respected piano tuner whose career spans 5 decades, during which he worked for internationally recognised artists including Freddie Mercury, Burt Bacharach, and Helge Schneider. Growing up in Berlin, a city that once had more than 300 piano factories, Benni was immersed early in both the musical and technical traditions of the piano trade.
Benni completed his apprenticeship in 2003, became a member of the Berlin Piano Tuning Guild, and opened his first piano tuning business shortly thereafter. Since then he has tuned and serviced thousands of pianos, working with both upright and grand pianos across a wide range of settings.
